I moved recently,
on September 1, to Old Town Alexandria, Virginia so I just recently got a
new job, and am getting resettled into a new life, so probably the
stress of all that plays a part. I have been out of my routine, not
eating the best and not exercising regularly; however, I do walk a lot.
I'm really getting worried about some new symptoms I’m experiencing recently and wanted to share them here to see if anyone has experienced similar ones because I do believe some symptoms are either directly or indirectly related to what causes my psoriasis.
In August, I woke up one morning and my middle finger on my right hand hurt/felt sore and kind of stiff. At first, the problem was not consistent, but random/on and off for a while. Then the pain, inflammation, joint stiffness and a slight curl of my finger developed and has become permanent/persistent over the last couple of months. I literally cannot completely straighten my middle finger anymore- it just stays slightly curled.
Around the same time the finger problem became more persistent, I’ve also been waking up almost every morning with both of my hands kind of tingly/numb…like they’re asleep. Both hands, almost EVERY morning. In addition to that, my feet randomly suddenly have that pins and needles (like they fell asleep) feeling—even has happened while I am walking, but mostly when I’ve sat (even just for a short while). This morning, for the first time, I felt that same slight pain in my right forefinger—very subtle though- but enough to where now I am kind of freaking out! I don’t want all of my fingers to become stiff and curled.
